Terms of Use

Last updated: October 18, 2025

Welcome to Docs Contacts (“Docs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, docscontacts.com, and any related pages, communications, or services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our site.

For questions, contact us anytime at hello@docscontacts.com.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, technology, or applicable laws. When we do, we’ll post the updated version here with a new effective date. If we make significant changes, we’ll give you reasonable notice — for example, by email or site banner.
Continuing to use Docs after any update means you accept the revised Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases or create an account on Docs.
If you’re between 13 and 17, you may use the Services only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

Your Account

To make a purchase or manage subscriptions, you may need a Docs account. You’re responsible for: Keeping your account information current and accurate; Protecting your login credentials; All activity that happens under your account

If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us right away at hello@docscontacts.com.

You agree not to share your login information or use another person’s account. Docs is not responsible for any losses that result from unauthorized account use.

Prescription Requirements

We comply with the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act (FCLCA) and all related regulations.

By placing an order for prescription contact lenses, you: Confirm that your prescription is valid, accurate, and issued by a licensed eye care provider; Authorize Docs to verify your prescription with your prescriber if required; Understand that we may cancel or delay orders with invalid, expired, or unverifiable prescriptions.

We’ll keep your verified prescription on file for as long as required by law, and you can request a copy anytime by contacting hello@docscontacts.com.

Ordering, Pricing, and Payments

We do our best to ensure all product details, prices, and descriptions are accurate, but sometimes errors happen. If we discover an error (for example, in pricing or availability), we may correct it or cancel your order — even after it’s been submitted. If you’ve already been charged, we’ll issue a full refund.

When you submit an order, you agree that: You’re authorized to use the payment method provided; You’ll be charged the total shown (including applicable taxes and shipping); You’ll promptly update us if your information changes

We use secure third-party processors to handle payments, and we never store your full credit card number.

Shipping and Delivery

We’ll do everything we can to ship your order quickly and accurately. Once your order is handed off to the carrier (like USPS, UPS, or FedEx), the risk of loss passes to you and the carrier. Docs is not responsible for lost or mis-delivered packages.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or product availability. We’re not responsible for delays outside our control, but we’ll always help resolve issues where we can.
Time to ship are estimates and may vary due to availability, prescription requirements and manufacturer limitations.

Auto-Refill and Subscriptions

If you sign up for Auto-Refill, you authorize Docs to automatically charge your selected payment method at your chosen frequency for recurring orders.
You can modify or cancel your subscription anytime through your Docs account or by contacting hello@docscontacts.com.

Before each renewal, we’ll send a reminder notice by email or text. Cancellations apply to future shipments only — charges already processed cannot be refunded once fulfilled.

You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time without penalty.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love your experience with Docs. For details about returns, exchanges, or defective products, please visit our Returns Policy.

Product Information

We work hard to provide accurate product images and descriptions, but actual packaging or appearance may vary slightly depending on manufacturer updates.
Availability may change at any time. If a product is out of stock or discontinued, we’ll contact you promptly with options for replacement or refund.

User Content and Reviews

You’re welcome to share reviews, questions, or photos through Docs. By submitting any content, you grant Docs a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and share it for marketing, customer feedback, or social content.

You’re responsible for what you post — please keep reviews honest, respectful, and based on your actual experience. We reserve the right to moderate or remove any content that violates laws or our guidelines.

If we ever have a dispute, we’d rather resolve it quickly and fairly. You agree to first contact us at legal@docscontacts.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

If we can’t, any dispute will be settled by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act and the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration means no jury trial or class actions.

You may also stop using Docs at any time. Certain sections of these Terms (like liability limits and arbitration) will continue to apply after termination.

Miscellaneous

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
Our failure to enforce any right doesn’t waive our ability to enforce it later.
You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We can assign ours freely.
